Jagannatha Ratha Yatra is an important festival which takes place in the holy city of Puri, India. It is celebrated every year on the second day of the bright fortnight of the month Ashadha (June-July). On this day, the three Deities - Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra are taken out of Their temple in procession on three elaborate chariots.
