The selection was based on the following internet databases: IMDB: TV Time: Simkl: Trackt: Google Books Ngram Viewer: Google Trends: This video DOES NOT INCLUDE computer animated series or stop motion series, with the exception of South Park due to its significant influence. It ALSO DOES NOT INCLUDE animated package shows as they are a compilation of independent cartoon series. Please, keep in mind that only the most popular series from each decade have been selected, so many others have been left out to avoid making the video too long. I hope you understand.
