In This Video We Are Looking At The version of Ubuntu DesktopPack or Ubuntu*Pack, which comes with extra applications, drivers and media codecs, offers full support for English, Russian and Ukrainian languages and is published by Canonical's official partner, Ukrainian-based UALinux, has been announced. The Ubuntu*Pack system is available as a free download immediately after installation, providing a completely self-sufficient and structured solution that includes all necessary software “out of the box”, making it an ideal system for use both at home and in the office. Ubuntu*Pack is available in 10 standalone system formats with different interfaces: Ubuntu (from Canonical), GNOME, LikeWin (Windows 10-style interface), Budgie, Cinnamon, KDE (Kubuntu), LXqt (Lubuntu), MATE, Unity and Xfce ( Xubuntu). The main differences between Ubuntu*Pack and the original version of Ubuntu are the already implemented updates, additional fine-tuning of the system, an expanded driver base to support various equipment, full support for playing/viewing/listening to multimedia files of various formats and additional features not available in the original version. It can be listed as the ability to run Windows programs as well as programs. A short general list of changes: The distribution is based on the code base of the Ubuntu LTS operating system, which allows for its long-term maintenance and use; The system contains all updates up to July 2024; All systems have the Ubiquity installer installed (which was previously the main one in version ); Firefox browser and Thunderbird email client are unlinked from Snap; Support for running programs for the Windows platform is included; Full support for Ukrainian, Russian and English languages is installed.
