Not many of you know that Czechia wants to connect three of Europe's major rivers: Oder, Elbe and Danube. This way Czechia will have access to three oposite seas: Black Sea, Baltic Sea and The North Sea. This will also help The Czech Republic to connect to the Global Market Trade Network. But we'll talk more about this in the video, so make sure you don't miss it. Feel free to write your opinion about this in the commnets. Hope you'll enjoy the video! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Transcript: This is Czechia Megaproject. You see, Czech Republic is located in the hearth of Europe and is the place where two major rivers, Oder and Elbe, have their springs. If we look a little bit south we see The Danube, the second largest navigable river in Europe. With its springs located in Germany’s Black Forest, it connects the Central Europe to the Black Sea. Czechia’s plan is to dig a new canal to connect these three rivers and to create an unified network of navigable routes. If this ambitious project will be finished, The Black Sea, The Baltic Sea and the North Sea will be linked together. Also, 12 European countries will be connected: Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine. Being a landlocked country, Czechia consider this project extremely important as it will allow Czech Republic to have access to the global market connecting it to three major ports: Hamburg in Germany, Szczecin in Poland and Braila in Romania. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special thanks to MapTiler / OpenStreetMap Contributors and GEOlayers 3 Idea from: @CaspianReport ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music: Hero's Theme by Twin Musicom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license.
