One of the trickiest things about the Kote was figuring out how to make it. There are not too many resources that explain the construction process for this garment and I had to mostly rely on extent garment images. On reflection I feel like the rope detail is more well hidden in real life and there probably isn't as many eyelets as I made, if at all. I would love to look at the actual pieces in person and be able to see how they were constructed. Maybe one day. But overall I LOVE how this is turning out. The Do armor is going to be an adventure and I can't wait to take you along the journey with me. - Karina :) Music: Ishikari Lore by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license () Source: Artist: Rising Sun by Yoshinori Tanaka / 田中 芳典 | Music promoted by Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License Wuxia2_Orchestra by PeriTune | Music promoted by Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) Ronin by yoitrax | Music promoted by Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License Borrow the Happiness by Kabbalistic Village | Music promoted by Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported (CC BY-ND 3.0) Whisper3 by PeriTune | Music promoted by Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) Warrior by yoitrax | Music promoted by Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License Intro: (0:00) What Material Am I Using?: (0:18) Kote Research: (2:25) Making the Headpiece: (5:27) Kote Pattern and Fabric: (10:34) Designing the Kote: (13:25) Eyelets and Drilling holes: (16:08) Weaving: (19:06) Conclusion: (20:41)
