The film takes up one of the most significant events in the history of Albania - the proclamation of the National Independence. The most outstanding personalities of the nation, lead by the great patriot Ismail Qemali, after many obstacles, succeeded in hoisting the national flag and proclaimed the independence of Albania in Vlora on November 28th, 1912. Restored in 2012 by Colorlab Corp. (USA) in collaboration with the Albanian Cinema Project (ACP) and Albanian National Film Archive (AQSHF), under the supervision of Regina Longo.
