Altay. Barnaul. Hotel Сentral. 4K Russian city tour When we were planning a trip to the Altay Mountains, we specially booked flight tickets to Barnaul, the capital of the Altay region, three days before the start of our tour through the Altay Mountains as part of an organized group. So that we could spend these three days in Barnaul. But I’ll tell you about Barnaul itself in the next video, and traditionally I’d like to open a series of videos dedicated to our Altay trip with a story about the hotel where we stayed after our arrival in Altay. The Central Hotel is a four-star business hotel in the center of Barnaul. The hotel complex comprises 104 rooms, a conference hall, 2 restaurants, a café and a sports hall. The hotel overlooks Lenin Avenue, the city’s main street and the Square of Soviets. We have booked a room in the “Business Suite“ category.. I liked the room! Above all, it seemed like a good solution to divide it into two parts with a furniture module. It consists of a desk and a rotating shelf with a TV on one side and a mirror on the other. A cupboard for crockery and a mini-fridge have been built into the base of the module. This design solution seems to be very convenient, practical and cute. After all, it was possible to create a clear division into zones in such a small space: You have a bedroom and a living room with a work desk.. And this, in fact, looks civil and very comfortable. And of course the bathroom… I think the bathroom is no less, perhaps even in a sense, a more important place in a hotel room than the living room. You can certainly tell the standard of the entire hotel by the way the bathroom is equipped. If the owners have not skimped on the quality of the sanitary facilities and the bathroom fittings, it means that in ninety-nine percent of cases the hotel also meets the highest standards in all other features… And vice versa, of course. As you can see, the bathroom in our room is right at the top! Excellent sanitary facilities, always a warm towel rail, three towels for everyone, a bathrobe, a bidet, a hairdryer ... I liked the service in the hotel for its invisibility and unobtrusiveness. I’ve the impression that this is how really high quality service should be. We saw virtually no maids but our room was always clean. The view from the window is beautiful! The central square of Barnaul, the Square of Soviets, everything within reach! On the left is the so-called House of Soviets, the building that houses the administration of the Altai Territory. And directly opposite is the academic building of the Altai State University, built in 1958. On the right, as you’ve probably already guessed, is the city’s main street, Lenin Avenue. The restaurant where we ate has the same name as the hotel, namely Central One. The restaurant hall made a very pleasant impression! The design is in dark colors, lots of wood, a cool installation on one of the walls. It’s really cozy and pleasant. At the opposite end of the hall from the entrance, you’ll find a buffet. ————————— Videos about the Altay journey: Barnaul: Altay. Barnaul. Hotel Tsentral: Barnaul-Artybash: Altyn Kel lake.
