Recording from VHS low quality, clears a bit after 40 seconds. Not My Department was a Canadian television sitcom, which aired on CBC Television in 1987. It was based on Charles Gordon's comedic novel The Governor General's Bunny Hop. The show focused on a fictional Department of Regional Incentive Targets, a ministry whose sole job was to inherit files that other government ministries did not want to deal with. The series starred Harry Ditson as Gerald Angstrum; Shelley Peterson as Margaret Simmons; Robbie O'Neill as Robert; Alpha Boucher appeared as Henri; and also included Barry Stevens, Pierre Chagnon, Chris Wiggins, Robert Benson, Bonnie Brooks, James Edmond and Suzanne Coy. The series was cancelled due to poor ratings and was not well received by critics.
