Hey guys, I'm glad to offer you some more of that 1938 Epiphone Deluxe. Its owner in Italy let me record a little bit on it, so I've prepared Nature Boy and Love me Tender. The song was composed in 1956 by George R Poulton with lyrics from Ken Darby and sang by Elvis Presley in the movie Love me Tender. I'm playing a 1938 Epiphone Deluxe, possibly one of the first blonde Epiphone (or if not, then it was sent back in the late 30s or early 40s to Epiphone to get the new natural finish). It features parallele braces, long scale and a near 17,5 inches lower bout body. The sound is warm and woody, a joy to play. The guitar is strung with phosphore bronze strings Jumbo King gauge 12, I'm playing a Dunlop gator .71mm pick, and the sound is captured by a Neumann TLM 103 and a Bluebird microphone.
