In the Rijnstate hospital in Arnhem (The Netherlands) they perform the CERAB (Covered Endovascular Reconstruction of the Aortic Bifurcation) technique. This is a less invasive alternative for a bifurcated graft procedure. The CERAB technique is applicable for almost every patient. The risk for complications will be less compared to a bifurcated graft procedure. Another advantage of the CERAB technique is a shorter hospital stay.
