JKMM has remodelled and extended a 1980s library into Fyyri, a modern, multipurpose one, with fair interiors and copper skin, as a “public living room” for the city. It exemplifies in its rational architecture, how libraries can also be vibrant, multipurpose structures that retain their core of spaces built for reading and learning.
