Rachel Deacon was born in London and studied at Chelsea School of Art,graduating in based her works on a narrative,using short stories or poetry as ispiration and creating a scene or an idea in drawings. She use tradionali oil painting techniques and embraces the convention of the classical composition , but with a contemporary is influenced by painters as Paula Rego and Frida Khalo.
