Georgia sits astride the mighty Caucasus Mountains between the Black and Caspian Seas and offers a breath-taking variety of landscapes and habitats. The range of flora is absolutely astounding. Following the bloodless Rose Revolution of 2003 and the Russo-Georgian War of 2008, it is becoming a very popular trekking destination due to its beauty and the rich cultural heritage it offers. Wild camping is permitted almost everywhere, and rustic homestays in authentic mountain villages provide a great way to meet the local people. Our film was shot in July of 2017 and features some of the best trekking areas of Kazbegi, Khevsureti and Svaneti. The settlements featured include the highest permanently occupied village group in Eurasia - Ushguli.
