Choi Gap-Won, a specialist in producing emotional hit songs, is releasing his first project album “The Lyrics“ under his name. Choi Gap-Won has worked as the producer for the albums of various skilled vocalists, including Gummy, Paik Ji-Young, IU, Zia, Wanted, Ha Dong-Gyun, SoulstaR, and C-REAL. The first stars for “The Lyrics“ are Hwee Sung and Lee Seung-Woo (of SoulstaR) with whom Choi Gap-Won shares as close a relationship as Hwee Sung. The title song “Should I Catch the Flu?“ features an impressive emotional collaboration with Hwee Sung's mid- to low tone voice in the melancholy rap and the mellow and plaintive vocal of Lee Seung-Woo. It expresses the desperate feelings of a man who wants to hold on to a parted lover if she should come back, making excuses that she might catch a cold or get sick. Moreover, Hwee Sung collaborated with producer Choi Gap-Won by writing the lyrics and music for the rap part of “Should I Catch the Flu?“. Ӣ
