This engine, with slight variations, is a model of RudyKouhoupt's “PIONEER“. It is a non-compression engine. When the crank has the piston at 6 degrees ATDC, the intake valve is opening and fuel enters the cylinder as the piston moves. When the crank is at 78 degs, or the piston is halfway down the cylinder, the intake valve closes. At 79 degs the breaker points open firing the spark plug. At 180 degs the exhaust valve opens and stays open until 360 degs when it closes and the cycle repeats.
