Bruce Allen was named Manager of the Year in 1985 by the influential music industry magazines Billboard and The Record. Born in Vancouver, Allen is the foremost manager of Canadian music artists, incl Bryan Adams, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Michael Buble, Anne Murray, Loverboy, Bob Rock. His agency is the most powerful in the business. Following host Terry David Mulligan's departure from CBC Vancouver TV's GOOD ROCKIN' TONITE in 1985, guest hosts filled in till Stu Jeffries took over the position on a permanent basis, and Bruce was one of the five. His special guest for the 90 minute show was charismatic Donald K Donald, Canada's most successful entertainment business impresario, whose company promotes concerts and musicians. Together the dynamic duo discuss the business aspect of rock 'n roll, with considerable name dropping. The program aired on October 4, 1985.
