Crossover and alternate universe Also, I didn't use Nala and Kiara because there're already videos of this song with them and i like editing to Kovu and Simba more X3 Storyline: (You might not even need this but read for clarification) Things you need to know: Zira and Scar are the parents of Kovu and are not abusive Mufasa though, IS abusive No one knows for sure that Simba is abused but they've guessed (mainly speaking of Nala) When the video changes from cubs to adults/teens that means they've been living this way all those years ok actual storyline now xD Kovu meets Simba at school and they play together but Kovu sees that Simba is acting odd Zira comes to pick Kovu up and Kovu and Simba look at each other with sorrow in their eyes, it is told why later When they get home, Kovu decides to tell Zira what he saw happening Zira doesn't believe him at first and tries to reassure him nothing's out of the ordinary (as most parents do, also she's not hurting him I just couldn't find a better scene xD) Earlier, before Zira picked Kovu up Mufasa had come first He doesn't want Simba socialising with anyone else but Simba is already close to Kovu Kovu cringes because he's never been in any kind of situation like this before What Kovu had said shocked Zira but she recovered and told him to continue And Kovu told her that Mufasa yelled at Simba and how Simba would lie about how he got new injuries every day The teachers don't believe him but they don't do anything about it Nala doesn't know he's being abused but she's guessed by now After many years Kovu and Simba are still suffering same problems and Kovu's pretty annoyed no one's done anything yet He walks down to his room and while Zira walks away, he starts praying under his breath (But Zira still hears him xD) He blesses his parents and Simba, because no one else would Simba to this day still lies about his injuries and how nothing's wrong even though everybody knows (or at least guessed) by this point This next scene is important, remember it for later At home Zira tosses and turns, not knowing what to do to help her son, Kovu doesn't want her to get violent though The next morning she's decided to tell one of the higher-ups and walks Kovu to school Where she hears everyone talking/whispering Kovu cowers in fear because, like before, he's never been in this kind of situation Everyone's crying or sad so he decides to ask his mother what's happened She doesn't respond so he keeps asking more questions She finally breaks, and tells him, Simba can't come to school anymore Kovu doesn't believe her Earlier that day Simba finally broke and told his friend Nala what had been happening Mufasa caught wind of this and is furious, remember that scene I told you to remember? It comes into play now Simba backed up off the cliff and Mufasa throws him off Simba plummeted to his death and now lives in the sky (That figure is Simba, not Mufasa) Everyone was there and saw what had happened, and they regret not stopping him Zira starts crying while Kovu sputters in disbelief Throughout his life Simba fought against Mufasa but always lost When he was younger the first friend he made was Nala Who he tried to protect but he got himself hurt in the process Mufasa threatens the staff at the facility to never speak a word about that incident After being thrown off the cliff, Simba survived long enough to walk over to Kovu and apologize He couldn't be there for him anymore, and Kovu finally breaks and sighs, knowing his friend is in a better place Video details Song: Alyssa Lies Artist: Jason Michael Carroll Clips: Lion King 1 & 2 Program: Sony Vegas Pitched?
