The certification scheme, which makes proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test obligatory in licensed premises was introduced by the Northern Irish government on Monday. Last week, it was reported that Northern Ireland had the highest number of COVID-19 infections in the United Kingdom, according to government data.
