DRIVESHAFT was a hard rock band formed in County Cork Ireland in the early 1980s by singer/songwriter/guitarist Gerry Lane. DRIVESHAFT was one of the top three hard rock bands working and touring in Ireland in the early 1980s. The other two bands were, Mamas Boys from County Fermanagh Northern Ireland and, Sweet Savage who was from Belfast Northern Ireland. They also supported many other big-name acts such as SAXON, DEF LEPPARD, and PHIL LYNOTT’s GRAND SLAM and RORY GALLAGHER. For the 1st time the bands singles the unreleased album, London Demos will be released in a cd full of photos, Infos, clippings. Coming soon on Obscure Nwobhm Releases.
