Young collective of Cuban musicians devoted to the rumba, an expression of the African heritage embedded in the island´s culture. In TEDxHabana, the group plays one of its most popular songs in which they invoke the Orishas, deities of the Yoruba religion. Rumba is also a synonym of “party” in the Cuban culture, and one of the purposes of Osaín del Monte is to make the audience enjoy the performance dancing with the rhythm of the drums. An emerging musical group devoted to the promotion of the Cuban rumba. This group of young artists has been recognized for its innovation in the different styles of the genre.
