“SHELL OUT PALANCHE!“ (MONEY IN GENOESE LANGUAGE) “DON’T MAKE ANGRY THE GOOD ONES!“ With these slogans Genoese people have retaken the streets for the second time in a week (on monday and saturday) protesting against the delays of “Ponte Morandi“ reconstruction, insufficiency of funds allocated with the Genoa Law Decree and for the fact that they haven’t yet been able to return to the evacuated houses: the first cold starts but families haven’t any autumnal clothes. Mayor Bucci, who is also commissioner for the emergency, have declared that “on 18-19 october will start first recovery operations in houses, with the assistance of Civil Defense and Fire Brigade“. Genoese people have insisted on the absence of any political or trade union flag in the parade, showing a strong city unity to face the emergency: “Being a citizen, I believe it is simply give a part of one’s life to the community“ concluded Filippo Biolè, member of the city commitee “Riprendiamoci Genova“ (“Recover Genoa“).
