With a daily barrage of drones and US ATACMS on Crimea, and the rest of the world is being hysterical about a nuclear Armageddon, people here are going about their daily lives as usual. Yesterday was Russia Day 2024 and I spent nearly four hours walking on the Yalta Promenade by the Black Sea. It was a warm and almost cloudless day with many people strolling about and enjoying this annual Russian holiday. I watched a two-hour live “emergency press conference” last night, sponsored by the Shiller Institute at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. featuring Scott Ritter, Col. Larry Wilkerson (ret), Col. Richard Black (ret), and Helga Zepp-LaRouche: founder of the Schiller Institute. For two hours, the entire focus was on the real threat of a nuclear Armageddon caused entirely by the United States, and why the American people seem completely unaware in stark contrast to October 1962 and the Cuban Missile Crisis. That was when JFK and Nikita Khrushchev made a deal that saved humanity.
