Rubicon closing Cal Jam 2, the largest paid-ticket event in history (250,000 paid, 350,000 attended). Jerry Martini and I (from Sly & The Family Stone) started a band in the mid-70s called Source. Eventually that morphed and grew into Rubicon. This performance features some stellar funk, including a drum solo by Greg Eckler that sounds like 2 drummers and then Jack Blades added a great bass solo to it (before he formed Night Ranger with Rubicon band mate Brad Gillis). Add to that the funky horn section. And Jerry Martini got a chance to shine :-)
