The origins of tango from Rio della Plata to Adda River in a click! The Canyengue, dance that has been the precursor of the Argentine tango, relives its origins “porteñe” in this short film, where music and the river are the absolute protagonists. Filmed inside the Adda Nord Park, in the country of Trezzo sull’Adda, it ideally brings us back to the beginning of the last century. A historical journey, a geographical condition, an opportunity to smile but also to think about the atrocity of slavery and the big exodus of Italians towards Latin America, pages of history very important but often forgotten; with the contribution in beauty of the Adda River landscape.
