Larissa grain and flour museum opened at 2019. Pappas Mill 1893 -1983. A state-of-the-art museum, a museum that is inextricably linked to the memories and life of this place, has been created in Pappas Mill. On the subject -what else- the golden cereal, the wheat, which is produced for hundreds of years now in the land of Thessaly and becomes flour from the years when the first steam locomotive in the area was built by the Epirus resident Konstantinos Pappas, in the distant 1892. The Museum of Cereals and Flours impresses, as you tour the area, per season and depending on the modernization, knowing the whole process, from the harvesting of the wheat, its placement in the sacks, its transport and processing until it becomes flour. This process comes to life through the machines that exist in the Museum, but also from a series of photographs by Takis Tloupas that have to do with the process of harvesting and processing the wheat.
