I was hoping this video would include my solution to blade drift, but its a harder problem than I thought and I'm also waiting on more blades to arrive to test with. I've seen varying explanations for why blade drift happens (sharper/duller on one side, buckling, trapped sawdust from high TPI, twisted blade) but I haven't found any explanation convincing that fits my experience and my setup. The bit of testing show far shows that the Flying Dutchman SP blades drift significantly more than the Pegas MGT, but the MGT still drifts. The SP blade could either be drifting because of its high TPI or the burrs one one side. I have a cheap microscope and its really interesting to see the difference in blade construction, but no way to capture images right now. Maybe that will come for Christmas this year!
