It's estimated that every Brazilian produces, an average of 1kg of trash per day. By adopting simple attitudes like substituting disposable for reusable, composting the kitchen trash and buying things in bulk, we can reduce by almost 70% our daily trash generation. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. However, the amount of trash she produced everyday started bothering her. In 2015, inspired by TED Speaker Lauren Singer, she created “Um Ano Sem Lixo“ to show how it'd be to stop producing trash.
