Jeremy van Kampen, known in the music world as Laughing Buddha, is a prominent UK producer and DJ. Originally a guitarist, his passion for creating trance music ignited at the Goa parties of the early 1990s. His initial foray into the scene was with the 'Cannabanoid' EP, released in 1995 under the alias Cosmosis with Bill Halsey on Transient Records. This collaboration yielded the acclaimed album 'Cosmology' and popular tracks like 'Morphic Resonance' and 'Gift of the Gods,' along with singles 'Infinite Depths' and 'Karma' on . Records under the Laughing Buddha moniker. After the duo parted ways in 1998, Jeremy continued the Laughing Buddha project, producing hits such as 'If You Think You're Psykik' on Transient. He also collaborated with Chris Decker of Medicine Drum and Purple, creating the classic track 'Remote' for Flying Rhino’s Maelstrom compilation. Today, Jeremy is recognized as one of the UK’s leading producers. His extensive discography includes releases on labels like Dragonfly, LSD (as Drum Druids), Nano Records, Solstice, and . World. Recently, he joined Nano Records, releasing his debut solo album, 'Sacred Technology.' As an accomplished live act and DJ, Jeremy has toured globally, performing in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel, the U.S., South America, and across Europe.
