A unique way to create a surface design in ceramics is to make a mono-print, with underglazes. I will take you through the steps on considering colors, prepping the clay, applying the different layers of underglazes, transferring the image onto a slab, turning a flat painted slab into a bowl, and etching in details using a technique called sgraffito. The result is a functional ceramic bowl full of depth, color, and an original design. Subscribe to my channel for more ceramic videos!
