Drum Majors flourish during Huntly Pipe Bands 70th anniversary parade , Scotland, Sept 2018

Following their performance in the town Square, Huntly & District Pipe Band return along Gordon Street to conclude their 70th anniversary celebrations. The band were led by their Drum Major Derek Dean and joined by guest Drum major Roland Stuart, who both demonstrated their ’flourish’ skills with the mace as they marched. Walking in front with the trophy is the 2018 World Junior Highland Dancing champion, Michelle Gordon from Huntly. Huntly and District Pipe Band is a recreational band based in the market
