ABOUT this concert, press release of 2009 The professional career of Sealhenry Olusegun Olumide Samuel, as is Seal's full name, appeared to have reached a dead end after about ten years without a hit. But his personality had made him into a superstar, as did his marriage with the German super model Heidi Klum. With the aid of the successful Canadian producer David Foster, who was also responsible for the productions of Earth, Wind & Fire and, more recently, Michael Bublé, he recorded SOUL last year. With only the best musicians, classics like A Chance Is Gonna Come (Sam Cooke), Knock on Wood (Eddie Floyd) and It's a Man's Man's Man's World (James Brown) were recorded in the producer's own home. During his live show, Seal will surely reach back to major hits of the 90s, like Killer, Crazy and Kiss from a Rose. The most important thing, however, is that the superstar is feeling really good at the moment and is scoring big hits again. Welcome to the official North Sea Jazz Archive!
