The Rangers enjoy an 8-3 win at home in this one, an original six matchup against the Leafs, a team that was entering a very tough time in their history. A rather chippy game, with lots of 2 minute stick-related minors called. The Swedes were the stars for the Rangers, Ulf Nilsson with 2 goals, and Anders Hedberg with 4 assists.
