Editing our DNA is a way to rid humanity of horrific, unacceptable diseases. At the same time, it’s a way to raise the quality of life for every individual to a whole new level. CRISPR technology has brought the bright future of genetic engineering within reach. But is it truly bright? What dangers await us in the age of modifying the code that makes us who we are?
