The Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum was the best place we saw in Helsinki. The natural setting was beautiful amongst all the trees surround by the tranquil waters of the Seurasaari bay with plentiful of birds. The cabins, watermills, and boat houses gave a nice insight into how the Finnish people of the past lived here. They had a petting zoo for kids when we visited- see the cute video here:
