Funky 15 (w/ transcription) ~ Dweezil Zappa cover

This is my cover/transcription of Dweezil Zappa's “Funky 15“, from the 2015 album “Via Zammata'“. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite compositions, & certainly a beautiful fusion of Frank & Dweezil's music. For the first time, I had the luxury of a making a multi-angle cover video (including the transcription I did of the piece!), thanks to Wesley Berger. The part I play is a composite of the guitar part & the full-score transcription/arrangement I did for this tune, filling in gaps here & there where there's no guitar (as reflected in the cue notes within the embedded transcription). A few updates to the fingerings have been made, in order to alter the phrasing a bit with each reiteration. While it's by no means perfect, I wanted to preserve a truly live, one-take-and-done vibe, with no edits. That solo is a doozy to play note-for-note! *Guitar is in E standard tuning.
