‘Kaaba Kashi’ is a song written and composed over 40 years ago, but never released. It stayed in my memory and in my heart over all these years. It is also the first composition of my father that I have released on my Music label and many more to come. Special thanks to Aditya Dev to produce this song with his magic and to Mehul Gadani to create such a simple yet soulful video. Kaaba Kashi is a spiritual song that very poetically explains the essence of religion. That No matter where you search for God, in various places of worship, if you don’t search for Him in your heart, in your being, in your consciousness, then you will never find him. The Music is soulful with a fusion of ethnic sounds and orchestral arrangements. The Video depicts a man in search, outwards and inwards, in search of the divine.
