Two goofy Disney sidekicks – The White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland (1951) and Mr. Smee from Peter Pan (1953) have a lot in common. Although they are different species, they both have white whiskers, glasses, funny nasally voices, and a somewhat bewildered looking expression. They are both assistants to the villains in their stories but they themselves seem to be decent at heart and not really involved in the struggle of good versus evil, just caught in the bureaucracy.
