Now, Questlove of the “The Roots“ has teamed up with actor Terrence Howard and VH1 to commemorate _Soul Train_ in a documentary. Questlove explained to theGrio the significance _Soul Train_ had on his life and also on black culture. For him, the show was about promoting positive images. “It's so important at a young age,“ he says. “That sense of pride. That sense of history.“ For him, a sense of history allows young African-Americans to break the common stereotypes associated with black entertainers.
