Check it out! Well, this isn't the update I had planned! Unfortunately my customer had some battery life issues, as well as a broken piece of plastic that rendered this mower completely useless. Back in April 2021, I posted an unboxing video: I took some equipment in on a trade, in exchange for purchasing this 40v cordless mower, a battery and a charger. The LM300 mower cost me $205, the battery was $142, and the charger was $51 for a total cost of $398 Canadian, before taxes. I ended up getting a full refund from my Canadian distributor, who then got a refund from Oregon. I then passed that $398 to my customer to reimburse him for the equipment he traded in. With that being said, even though I did originally profit on the initial trade in (once I sold the equipment) it wasn't worth the time I spent dealing with this. From the hours on the phone waiting, to sending emails and waiting days, even weeks to hear back. It took months to straighten this out, and unfortunately, it just wasn't worth the headache. Like I said in the video, I tried not to be too negative, but also wanted to give you an accurate depiction of what I had to deal with. This was my 1st time buying and selling an electric product, and I think, for the time being, I'll be staying away from them altogether. I'm sure not all electric products will have these issues, but this one just didn't meet my expectations.
