Encanto Fan Animatic Went From We Don't Talk About Bruno to We Don't Talk About Mirabel What If Mirabel Gave Up Just to clarify in case it's confusing. This is an alternative universe. The Mirabel here isn't the same as the one in the movie, as you can probably tell from the end. She had a lot of bitterness and jealously since she was little. She doesn't care for the family, or have a close relationship with the Casita. So when she says sorry to it (since she is one of the reasons it broke), she doesn't actually mean it. Also when she says 'If I can't have a gift, then no one can', it's similar to her saying if 'I'm normal then everyone will be as well.' And unlike in the movie I had the candle start to come to life again, because there wouldn't be a point in Mirabel crushing it if it was already out. I know the video itself is less than a minute so it's hard to figure out the story. So I hope this helps a little if anyone becomes
