In this video I will restore an antique waffle maker that was forgotten by people and time. The waffle maker was extremely rusty and quite difficult to restore. It Is over 100 years old and was made in Belgium. I love this object and when I saw it for the first time I knew that it would make a great restoration video and that it deserves to be restored and preserved. it was bought at the flea market for 30$. I’m personally satisfied with how it turned out after cleaning and seasoning the cast iron with canola oil. The restoration process went well and I had the chance to experiment new things, especially the waffles that I made after an old traditional flemish waffle recipe They were delicious! Trust me! Do you like waffles? For me it was like a trip back in time using this old waffle maker.
