Gigafactory Texas on 3 November 2021! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built! Early flight, but heavy rain arrived right at the end of my flight. Despite this, fortunately I was able to find a short window to fly in before the heavy rains arrived. To do this, however, I had to get a very early start, meaning “night“ start as dawn arrived. In this video, we take a detailed look at the construction and reshaping efforts on the east side pond using the newly released Giga Texas official site plan documents. This is part of an elaborate storm water & sediment management system that collects and distributes rainwater runoff from around critical areas. Very large underground corrugated pipes direct water to the sedimentation basin (or pond) and then on to the Colorado river. We also look back 6 months ago to see how Giga Texas appeared then and to help see how much has changed in such a short time.
