Before the rain came in at the 2019 Val di Sole, Italy, UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Downhill race today, riders experienced good course conditions in the morning before qualifying. Val di Sole is considered the most brutal course on the circuit with unrelenting steeps, rocks, roots and massive bike-swallowing holes from top to bottom. Later in the day, during qualifying for the Elite Men's class, the skies opened up, thunder, lightning and heavy rains turned the course into a nearly unrideable mess. See to
