Lightbicycle sent me these wheels for an in-depth review, and I made it clear from the start—I wanted to test them to the limit, even if that meant cutting them up. Initially, they were a bit hesitant, but in the interest of full transparency, they agreed. These wheels went through the wringer during my time with them—surviving multiple crashes and the rough handling that comes with constant loading and unloading from the car. Despite the abuse, they held up well. When it comes to aero performance, disc wheels have minimal variation because the solid boundary of the disc is non-perforated, which helps maintain consistent aerodynamics. The finishing kit provided is thorough, though I have mixed feelings about the hubs.
