The “Qinglong”, a full-size humanoid robot developed by Humanoid Robots (Shanghai) Co Ltd, debuts at WAIC 2024. Walking on two legs like a human, it can also run, jump, and withstand impact interference. Standing meters tall and weighing 80 kilograms, it features a highly bionic torso, dexterous hands, and AI-driven control, making it smart and human-like. In May this year, the first National and Local Joint Innovation Center for Humanoid Robots was established in Zhangjiang, Shanghai, where the humanoid robot “Qinglong“ was born. By 2027, it expects to train 1,000 humanoid robots simultaneously for various real-world applications. Several Shanghai-based companies, like Fourier, Zhiyuan Xinchang, CETC 21, and Kepler, have developed general-purpose humanoid robots capable of bipedal walking and are exploring applications in logistics. __________________ ShanghaiEye focuses on producing top-quality contents.
