Clark Terry - Mumbles, 1965 (HD restoration)

Clark Terry was a brilliant trumpeter, but his wonderful scatted set-piece Mumbles was probably his most famous song. He scats it in a kind of conversational gibberish - which he makes look like a great coherent story, if only we could understand what he's saying. There's many different versions to be found on YouTube, including a duet with Aretha Franklin - but this is absolutely my favourite.
