This is a shuffle dance tutorial for beginners who want to learn how to shuffle as quickly and easily as possible. The first in a series, this one covers a key shuffle move - the Running Man - as well as explaining my simple method for anyone, especially those over 50, wishing to learn this difficult skill. Why bother? For those, like myself, that don't enjoy traditional “cardio“, this is a great workout - it will definitely get your heart rate up! GET YOUR DOCTOR'S PERMISSION BEFORE STARTING! It also develops calf muscle strength, coordination and balance. If you are interested in EDM or shuffle dancing, I believe you will find this video very useful. Having only relatively recently learned to shuffle dance myself in my mid 50s, I do not in any way pretend to be a professional dancer. However, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to know what to focus on at the beginning and feel I have some insight regarding what it takes to simplify the process. I would like to minimize the confusion by presenting only 3 basic moves - the Running Man, the Modified Charleston, and the T-step, each with their own video. This will be followed by 1-2 videos combining these moves into a shuffle dance practice routine to allow you to get comfortable changing between each shuffle movement. I explain the process in this video as well as presenting the Running Man in the simplest way possible for an absolute beginner to learn. Even so, it will still take practice but you can do it. Don't give up - the more you practice, the better you will get. Do this until the next video and get ready to amaze your friends!
