✨ Get your 2024 ADHD Planner: ✨ Let's (try to) focus together 😊! Hi 👋 ! My Name is Alice, I created The Mini ADHD Coach in august 2020 when I was just diagnosed with ADHD at 29. After years of questioning, therapy, burnout, and chaotic career path changes, I finally understood why I struggled with so many things. So I decided to share what I learned to raise awareness around ADHD and help the ADHD community thrive. 💕 To learn more about ADHD visit ⭐️Join me on Instagram @theminiadhdcoach ✨ Free Mini ADHD Test: The Pomodoro technique is a great way to help people with ADHD stay focused and complete tasks. It breaks up larger tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks of time, which allows people with ADHD to pay attention for longer periods. For instance, instead of trying to focus on writing an essay for two hours straight, the Pomodoro technique suggests taking short five-minute breaks in between 25-minute blocks of work. This helps keep you from getting overwhelmed and losing motivation or focus. 🚀 By setting a timer, you can also help keep yourself on track. Once the timer runs out, take a short break to do something else for five minutes. This gives your mind time to reset and allows you to come back feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the task again. 💪 Not only does the Pomodoro technique give your brain regular breaks, it also provides structure and accountability that can be extremely helpful for those with ADHD. Studies have shown that breaking down larger tasks into smaller pieces actually makes them easier to remember and complete. Plus, when you know that you have a set amount of time to complete each task, it will help you stay on track and motivated. 💪 If you think the Pomodoro technique might be something worth trying out, why not give it a go? You’ll never know if something works until you try it! 🤗 Just remember to find what works best for your own needs and adjust accordingly—you may need more or less frequent breaks than someone else. Good luck!
