Thea Gilmore performs ‘She Speaks In Colours’ to Delyth Raffell and family. The song was written by Thea as part of 21st Century Folk, Radio 2’s series that sees five people have songs written about their lives. Delyth’s daughter Ellen passed away in 2019 at the age of 16, after suffering an allergic reaction. The family have been inspired by Ellen’s young life to run a charity, Ellen’s Gift of Hope, which helps children facing challenges in the North East of England.
