Vangelis' contribution to “Blade Runner“ with his iconic musical score is nothing short of legendary. His ethereal compositions have become inseparable from the film's identity and have had a profound cultural impact. This video is a really small ambient tribute to this artist. It's already the fifth attempt at creating it. The four previous attempts ended up in the trash. I felt that both Vangelis and Zhora should be brought more into focus, as it's not solely about the film but just as much about the music and all the characters, even the supporting ones. Zhora's longing for freedom and her willingness to do anything to survive underscore the tragic reality of her short, hunted life as a cover image pays tribute to Joanna Cassidy's portrayal of Zhora and the indelible mark she left on the world of science fiction cinema.
